St Colman’s Cathedral
The carillon is located in St. Colman’s Cathedral, overlooking Cobh town and Cork Harbour.
Recitals take place on Sundays at 16:30 from May to September.
A closed-circuit system is in operation showing the carillonneur playing the instrument. This can be viewed inside the Cathedral at the base of the tower – turn right as you enter through the main door.
A new compact disc of the Carillon of St Colman’s Cathedral is now available. This was produced in collaboration with University College Cork.

82nd Summer Recital Season 2009
Free hour-long recitals will take place on Sundays at 4.30 p.m. from May to September and are usually given by Adrian Gebruers KSG, Cathedral Carillonneur. A closed-circuit system is in operation showing the carillonneur playing the instrument. This can be viewed inside the Cathedral at the base of the tower - turn right as you enter through the main door.
As always, there will also be a number of guest recitals presented by leading international carillonneurs, as follows:-
Sunday July 5: Toru Takao (Japan) - Award-winning International Concert Carillonneur from Himeji (Honshu)
Sunday July 26: Treasa Edmonds - 2007 Winner of the Staf Gebruers Memorial Carillon Student Award
Sunday August 9: Carillon Duo Anna Maria Reverté (Spain) & Koen Van Assche (Belgium).
