Mostyn House School has now closed and the future of the bells is uncertain.

The latest correspondance with the liquidators is as follows:

· The Bells were not formally the property of the School/the Company, but were rather held in Trust
· Nonetheless, as liquidators of the Company with which the Bells and the Bells fund were associated we are keen to resolve this matter.
· We continue to take advice on the Bells fund, any monies for which currently lie in a Company bank account. We have received initial advice on this from our legal advisers and are now also in correspondence with the Charity Commission on the appropriate course of action. I will update you of any progress on this matter as and when it arises. Obviously we would seek as much comfort as possible that we were acting appropriately before making any final decision on the Bells or any attached funds. Apologies if this process may move rather slowly.
· We understand and accept that the preferred destination for the Bells is Charterhouse.
